In 2014, I was in a similar position to you.
I had an idea for an online course. I'd even written all the material already.
But I didn't know HOW to actually turn it into an online course.
I'd learnt about Soundcloud and Vimeo, and I'd done a business course, but I still didn't know HOW to actually bring my course into the world.
And then in October 2014 I learnt about Jana Kingsford's Launch a Little Course, and I jumped in with both feet.
She became my mentor and my inspiration.
Since then, I've created 16 paid online courses and a similar number of free ones.
I LOVE creating online courses!
It's become a huge passion of mine!
I love the combination of learning, creativity and contribution.
I LOVE learning all the technical stuff.
I LOVE creating my own logos and designs and sales pages (like this one!).
I LOVE sharing what I love with other people in ways that they can enjoy.
So, I had this idea, to create a course about creating courses.
This in no way replaces, or competes with, Jana's Launch a Little Course.
This is me responding to those of you who asked me HOW I actually make a course.
In LALC, Jana takes people through the actual process of deciding what course to make, how to connect with your ideal customer, and all the psychological elements of launching a course, AS WELL as the technical aspects of actually creating a course.
In Create a Course, I focus on just the technical aspects ~ I walk you through the actual tangible processes, step by step, from buying the domain to the finished course.
I simply mention the psychological elements of having our Inner Loving Mother and Inner Loving Father with us, and I don't take you through how to actually come up with the idea of your course and how to find your ideal customer.
This really is predominantly the technical, step-by-step process of physically creating the online course that you know you want to make!
